Our vision is to create a community where everyone has the ability to own a home.

For years we have given countless dollars to a multitude of other amazing charities, but unable to know if we are truly making an impact directly within these communities. That’s why we founded an entire non-profit division to focus on giving back and supporting individuals and families throughout the Philadelphia area.

In The Community

Philadelphia is about more than business to us. We believe in doing the right thing and supporting our community. Partnering with Habitat for Humanity

“There is so much poverty in the city,” said Mary Pack, coordinator for How Charities, “so many people struggling to keep a roof over their heads. It’s time for us to help out.”

HOW Charities partnered up with Habitat for Humanity to create a home ownership opportunity for a deserving family. HOW Charities acquired the property and renovated it with help from HOW General Construction and HOW Real Estate.

Holiday Gift Drive

In 2017 The HOW Group organized a Holiday Gift drive, donating presents to families in need in the Philadelphia area. Our team coordinated donations, wrapping, and delivery of over 100 gifts to families in need. The drop-off included a visit from our very own Santa, ensuring children and their families had a memorable and special holiday season.

Paint Night Fundraiser

We organized a Paint Night Fundraiser for HOW Charities. The HOW Group employees, friends and family joined together as we converted our Philadelphia office into a studio for an evening of art and fun. This exciting event enabled us to raise $500!
